Here's a pic of Darrel's new neck knife (unofficially dubbed the Arclight):

made of 3/8" (oops, I mean 5/32") CPM 3v stock. First neck knife I ever owned. Won't be my last from Darrel.

Great looking knife! How about more dimensions please, blade length, overall length, price, etc.

Cheers,
Damon

Mine will be 420V and G-10.

I think it is the sweetest looking little knife I've ever seen, right up there with Rob's Cetan.

Dangit Darrel! I've got one on order and not this! You're killin' me man...

And besides that I've been trying to get Rob to put me on his list again...hey Rob...are you listening?

Thanks for the kind words all!!!!!

Greg your name has stuck. I have the handled version done now also.

It will be named the arclight 1
The skeleton version is arclight.

I am making them in 420v .

Bob Bailey (my Stepson)is making the sheaths for them.

Thanks for the support and feeback on this knife.

My initial impression is that this knife is a well balanced design. Feels very good in my hand and fit and finish are pretty good. Kydex sheath fits well. As my version is the skeletonized version, I may experiment with a cord wrap on the handle some time in the future. In the days ahead will give this knife a good workout.

Thank you, Darrel for the very nice knife and look forward to checking out more of your work.

I was fortunate enough to consult with Darrel during his development of this fine neck knife and today one finally arrived at my door.

This is a much more impressive knife than the picture alone implies.

The feel in the hand is great, the grip extremely secure.

The 420V recurved blade is wickedly sharp and begs to be used.

Once again I should've known that one of Darrel's knives would bring more to the table than merely meets the eye. Bravo!

I'm looking forward to living with this knife and putting it through its paces. (DDR would have it no other way.

In short, it looks like a classic.

It's about 6.5" OAL, blade about 2.75" or so.

I copied the pic from Kevin Pensinger's "The Edge Equipment" website as it is close enough to mine that any differences aren't readily apparent.

Darrel has a terrific neck knife here. Just the right size with very efficient, high quality kydex sheath. The knife itself has a lot of design "flair" as well as superior materials (choice of CPM 420V or CPM 3V depending on the model). In addition you have Darrel Ralph standing behind the knife should it need any service.

All in all a real winner in the high tech neck knife category I think

Sorry, Steve. I know how you feel.

But then, just think what you have to look forward to!
