Email sent on pen knife and hat. Been itchin' for a pen knife, hope I get it!

IMO That is a proper 12" Pen knife and a quite lovely one too.

WOW! Aren't these sweet! the Pix Salyan is very nice looking and the weight would be easy to handle..ummmmmmm...and of course the Tarwar..very nice and that handle would probably fit well in one's hand.....I am thinking..:-)

wow those are some really cool "retro" blades offered today. That PK is fantastic.

I really like the polished blade and villager edge/bevel.

I hope they keep finishing blades this way.

Since I put a convex edge on all my khuks by hand, this makes the most sense. By the time I finish (220 up to 2000 grit followed by leather strop) I have a polished edge/bevel. Plus with the edge staying off the buffing wheel, there is no annealing of a thin layer of metal and the edge out of the box should be sharper.

Didn't notice this until you mentioned it, goes to show my comprehension skills. Some people might still prefer full villager or full polish, but this is a pretty cool compromise, and could be ideal for some.

Ah! email sent...

Thanks Joe, I did manage to "shark" the Tarwar.:D

Now I have 2 blades by Rajkumar.
I'm still hoping to grab a Tirtha blade soon, from the pics I've seen shared here, he has been making absolute works of art lately.

Same here Leo.

In this instance I think it is a great idea for a blade which is intended as an user, plus in these photo's it looks very good too.

Congrat's to you HairahSitna.

All in all, a most interesting Tarwar. I would appreciate knowing what the circumference of the grip is, as to me it looks thinner than other recent Chiruwa Tarwars.

Regards,

bruce

Super...I felt bad the other day that you didn't get the YCS I believe it was...that was a bummer...but on the up swing..you got a Tarwar and congrats again...I have em by Rajkumar also and I just love em...I have a couple others also...my HI terms are not yet on par.. can't remember half the different blade types, handle types and styles...I guess I should give it some time..and a "thumbs up" on Tirtha...he makes sweet stuff...and yes his work is getting better all the time...happy Sharking to you...:-)

The drastic belly on that Pen Knife would make it a good skinner / game knife. good snag.
I was very tempted to purchase that Tarwar, those zombies are not going to re-kill themselves you know. I ended up getting a good khuk off of another forumite.
