I went to visit the Folks today for a while , I bought my Dad a Time 2007 Almanac , he has Parkinsons and , I want to try an keep his mind sharp and thought the book would give him facts and so forth to digest , sort of like a daily hike for the brain.
Well he walks outside for a few and comes back in and hands me this red box , he is not into knives like we are but does have a few. Anyways his good friend Norman passed from cancer a couple of years back but gave my Dad this new Wenger for a present , my Dad never did use it once , just kept it in his glove box , well he gave it to me and I was like ...... "Dad , you dont want this ?? I mean Norman gave it to you" my Dad said "naw , you keep it , you collect knives , I dont have a use for it".
Very generous of my Dad.. I thanked him warmly and shook his hand , my Dad is the best ( El Numero Uno ) in my book ! :)

Knives like that one, end up as favorites as time goes bye.

Parkinsons and all,, your Pop still remembers you love knives and gives you one from one of his good friends!!. I am thinking your Dad is one of the best and loves you like no other!!. Treasure that relationship and visit him often.

Thanks for sharing that one!!

God Bless You & Yours,

Tony
