With the discontinuation of the Tissot Seastar 1000, the market for less expensive, Swiss-made automatic diver's watches seems to have closed significantly. Then I cam across these guys:

And was wondering if anybody had any experience with these guys. Swiss made, ETA movement-good, 300m water resistance, interchangeable bezels, and classic diver's watch looks, similar to a Seamaster.

Debaufre is the US trade name for Steinhart, a German company that has its watches made in Switzerland. It is a fairly new company and many of their designs are "homages."

I have the Steinhart Triton (not the Debaufre version, personal preference). There is a Debaufre forum at Watchuseek where you can get more information.

Okay, thanks.
When I can scrounge/ beg/ steal/ stop buying knives, I think I know my next watch purchase.
