It's been a boring Saturday so far, so I decided to break out my Jasco and go to town on the Izzy. It's soaking right now. All I gotta say is the coating is freaky tough. The Jasco has barely touched it.

Klean strip will take it off clean in no time. I am about to strip and convex one of my izulas.

I used what I had on hand. It made short work of the coating on my Spyderco clips. Going in, I knew the coating was tougher on the ESEE, but decided to go for it anyway. Afterwards, I'm gonna try a mustard patina.

Edit: Scraped as I went with a razor blade. Helped out, but still got lots of coating to go. Damn you Jeff and your too-good-coatings!

Well, I got most of the coating off. All that remains is inside the hole and handle holes. It's not a whole lot so it won't bother me at all. She's sitting with a bit of mustard on her right now. Pics will follow when it's all finished up.

Just a few pictures.
