I took apart my delica carbon fibers and sanded it with 350 grit, started with 600, but it was not good enough so I went down to 350 and it was great , cleaned it and put it back together oiled it adjusted and vawlla, what a beauty. I can still see the fibers but it is not plasticy shiny any more. It feels great and looks perfect. All the little chips around the screws disappear and it is soooo elegant .

BE well Arnon

Sounds really great and quiete interesting. Please don't hesitate to do some pictures - with smcfalls13 and me we are at least two who want to see ;)

There is a slight difference that I can see in the pictures. It's not as shiny as it usually is, and I like it better this way.

It looks a little rougher in texture too, which would also be better than the default(in my opinion)

Nice job:thumbup:

That is exactly how I prefer them too. I hate the shiny look on those.
I have been hesitant to dis-assemble one because I have not been sure I could properly get it back together.
