Recently, Absintheur held a giveaway which I was blessed enough to win. Up for grabs were three Old Timer knives. They arrived last week, but due to my workload I have been slow uploading pics.
The trio consists of:
1) Schrade old timer 340T three blade pocket knife.
2) Schrade old timer 180T single blade lock back Mighty Mite.
3) Schrade old timer 1080T three blade pocket knife.
Without further ado:
First, Absintheur's photo from his original thread. Much better posed than anything I could do.
Here's a comparison with a Case Sodbuster jr (yeller!)
Top down shot:
Lying on their bellies:
On their sides:
The large stockman has already gained some pocket time. I carried it today after putting a simply wicked sharp on all three blades. It opens smoothly and lockup is decent enough.
The little linerlock has been given to my 12 year old son. He was very excited! It won't get much pocket time as he is very fond of his DWO, which just means that he's less likely to do it any harm. I think he'll have it for years to come.
The medium stockman has pretty stiff backsprings, so I'm trying to figure out how to loosen it up.
Thanks again to a fine gift! (Next...some glamor shots.)
