Did Hoyt Buck ever make anything that looked like this?

Ran across this photo and was wondering if it could be something Hoyt Buck did? I have absolutely no reason to think it's one of his but something about it just made me want to ask anyway.

Hoyt and Al made all kinds of knives. I dont personally think that is one of theirs, but in the old days they would make just about anything you wanted and paid for... You could place an order and specify exactly what you wanted and how long.

I just spent a half hour reviewing the photos I took of the factory museum.

There was nothing there that was a match to that, but there were a number of examples using similar handle materials, similar handle shapes, and a pommel that's not far off.

Just off the cuff, after reviewing those pics, I would say it's altogether possible Hoyt made something like that. There are plenty of of kind-of-exotic blades from that period, and more than a few using handle materials like that, and several with striped patterns. Even a few examples with similar guards.

I would definitely not exclude it from possibility.

The guard does not look like his style but the rest is not so far off. DM

The handle material and that clip point blade are what made me think "Hoyt Buck". Seems like I recall seeing a photo on this forum a while back of a knife he did that reminded me of a 119 or maybe a 124 but with a blade that was 2 or 3 times the normal length.
