Been toying around with the idea of a slightly smaller Tigress. Wanted it be more compact and still most of the attributes of the Tigress.

The Lioness is 15 1/2 OAL with a 10" blade. The handle is also shortened by about 1/2" compared to the Tigress. It is still a design concept at this point. Will eventually getting around to making it.

I was thinking about full flat ground 3/16 3V for light, fast, mean, and still tough enough for most chopping tasks. May decide to go with full convex grind as well. Not quite sure yet.

Dude... that sounds epic! Hell, keeping with the idea, and adding a sharpened swedge would make a pretty awesome large fighter too.

Between these too, I'm not as mad at myself for not picking up another Fusion Battle Mistress when they were out a few years ago.

you already know i'm psyched about this!! the tigress is definitely one of my favorite design, but the lioness sounds like the perfect concept for a camp, light duty chopper, and fighter knife I would actually haul around! really looking forward to this...

Yes, it is 3/16. Will try to grind it out tomorrow and do some more heat treating before all of my LN2 evaporates from my Dewar.

Are both of those M4? M4 is some sick stuff, I love using it for blades. Ban I just had to say how much I like those two designs, the curves and sweeps of the lines just flow so gracefully. I could see that design being shrank again into a seven inch blade and still being awesome. You do very nice work and thanks for sharing.

Thanks man! The smaller Lioness is M4 and the larger Tigress is CPM-154. I can see a small 6-7" blade version coming in the near future ;)
