Did they halt sales of the paradigm?????

I went to a skife store today and I asked if they had the Paridigm, The store owner said that the shipment of them was halted cause the legality of the knife was being questioned. Has anybody had the same issue or is it just here in California. I saw that the knife store was still selling them, and they are still on the bay. Maybe its a non issue.

They had them in the BPS I checked, outside of Richmond Va, on Monday.

We'd need more details (maybe from the shop owner?) like who, is questioning what, about the knife. The Paradigm doesn't seem to be any different from other assisted openers. I can't see why that one would be singled out, when other brands aren't questioned.

I will throw my 2 cents in at this juncture. If Buck would do a scaled down Paradigm along the lines of the 340 Vantage. I think it would be a big hit. I like my Paradigm, but have to carry it in my back pocket. Would really like one a tad lighter and smaller so it could go clipped in my front pocket. \

I would call it my wana-be a 300 Paradigm Super Cadet.

Nice name 300, but that may not fit on the end of the box..... But the idea is a good one because I love the smaller Vantages. I have really tried to like the Paridigms but I can't seem to get used to carring it.
