Dilema---Should I or shouldn't I

I just finished up this Hawk today.It wasn't for a order but I wanted to try doing one with layered Damascus over steel to make the design instead of etching it on..
My dilema is should I try putting a rawhide wrap on the handle with Hoarse hair fringe or should I leave it alone..
I don't really know how to do the rawhide but I think that I can figure it out.I kind of like the wood handle like it is but I think that the wrap looks cool also...
Please Help and give me your suggestions here.

Wow... I am at a loss for words. I would love to see it with the wrap and horse hair, but it already looks perfect. What kind of wood is that?

The handle is Curly Maple that has been dyed with potasium permanganate and then heated and oiled....
Crayola,Yes I still have my Boonie infact I still have 2 of them.I can't completely give them up yet....
Maybe I will just have to find out how to do the wrap and then make another hawk to do it on...Thanks for the kind words here everybody.

Well If U wrap it U will need to sew it..If U braid it, How many strains Are U going to use?..Either way I think that if U add wrapings U will only add to the great piece U have Now. I guess what im trying to say is Wrap it.

Don't wrap it, but make a rawhide and fringed carrying sheath...

Thanks everybody I can't believe all the kind words here....
I guess that I will just have to make another dozen or so

And see what I can figure out next....I do think that the raw hide wraps are cool looking,Maybe I will wait till I get a piece of maple that is not as good of a grain and do the wrap on it....
