I threw together a few things in some foil on the grill and made a quick easy dinner.

I tend to favor smaller knives in general so using the fullsize knife at first felt a little awkward. But once I started using it it began to feel like an extension of my hand.

The paring knife made quick work of the peppers.

The patina is really starting to take. Garlic and onions always make for a nice color.:D
Overall I am really liking these two knives. I plan on doing a full review this weekend. As of right now though I am favoring the larger of the two knives for its great balance and natural feel in the hand. The paring knife is great also just have not got a chance to use it as much yet.

That reminds me...I haven't eaten dinner!

With the knives being so thin, does the paring knife have any give in it or is it stiff?

They both have a little give. I had thought there might be more give but they are plenty sturdy.

That bigger knife would not be my kitchen knife. Id get a sheath for it and take it fishing. Mrs stomper did well on that design.

How well does the utility knife hold it's edge?

It looks like you guys are putting it to good use; how often does it need touch-up?

I stropped both knives lightly before using them tonight. I did it more out of habit than anything. Neither blade needed touching up, just figured it couldn't hurt.

Hi rooikat -

I never touched the Kitchen Utility, but I did sharpen the paring knife up a little before I sent it on.
