What is the longest distance that you were able to stick a knife?

Mine is about 22'. Hope I can do better than that when I receive my new thrower from Bobby Branton. My current knives weight is 8.5 onces. Too light. They like to flop about in flight.

I have stuck knives up towards 60 feet, but you either have to have a strong arm or throw it high with a long arc.
P.S.
Your knife is polished and I will be putting the handles on tomorrow. Hopefully I can get it out later in the week.
Thanks

Bobby

Take care

60 feet?!?! Holy cow. Man I am in awe. Makes me want to get out there and practice. My best was 36 feet. Either a 2 1/2 or 3 turn. In the excitement I forgot which end I was holding when I let her fly. Logically it was 3 turns. 12 feet equals 1 turn 36 feet equals 3 turns But it just doesnt seem right. Never been able to stick it again. Hopefully this season.

I just saw a little essay on one of the big throwing contests, and one of the competitors made a throw of over 100'!!

Some arm!
