Just a quick set of pics of my new Dobruski. I really like it. Finish is superb. The blade grind is beautiful and has a great cutting edge on it. The stag slabs don't match up very well, and they aren't top grade, but I like them, and hey, the knife didn't cost $500. It is pretty stiff out of the box, but seems to be breaking in a little bit. Nice design of the latch to keep it out of the blade channel. I am very happy with this knife.

Congrats, very nice bali.

Very nice, clean, simple, elegant solution to the latch-blade contact problem. I hope Mr. Doburski won't mind if I incorporate into my bali design.

I will be picking up CB#24 tomorrow from the seller. Can't wait to play.

IMHO, you can't come close to his workmanship for the prices he charges. It would be nice if all knife makers could do such a fine job.

Very nice, the more i see of them, the more i realize i'm going to have to get Doburski before long...enjoy it!

Does the blade still hit the inside of the bite handle? I know that was a problem with Dobruskis previously.

I think that was the ROTON Monarch.

I think maybe the first one didn't have much of a kick, but then he got a few pointers from Chuck.

My memory may be failing me though...;)

From what I've heard, that was only a problem with his early balis. His bowies does have the illusion of being too big for the handles. I like it. :D

I got both my CB22's last week, and they do break in nicely (although stiff at first). I do agree no one can touch his work for the $$$ right now...absolutely wonderful grinding and mine are SCARY sharp!

Mine has a generous kick. Lots of edge clearance inside the handle. Great knife.

A little lube and a little swinging has the knife swinging smoothly and sweetly. It is just about my favorite knife at the moment. Beautiful, slim, just a little lighter than the Benchmade customs, terrific cutting edge. Haaaaa! Bali-bliss!

Hey Steve, are you having a problem with the latch? Mine is swinging beautifully as well, and the edge is razor sharp. But I'm having a problem with the latch locking up behind the bite handle and slamming into the latch hole in the safe handle. It's happened a few time. Otherwise, it's perfect.
