I have a Taylor/seto Golden dragon that is missing a handle , Would make a great project for MER . If you do want it make me a resonable offer (trades welcome ) . I can probably get a pic to you , if my crappy digital camera will work .

It would be an excellent project for any of the several folks doing rehandle jobs.

The Golden Dragons came in several sizes. How long is your's?

4" is just medium for a Golden Dragon. I can't remember off hand how long the big one was, eight or maybe even ten inches, I think.

Well, Mer, there you have it. The perfect blade for you. Put some of your great interesting new handles on it and sell it for a tidy profit.

I've been in contact with a company that does gold Titanium Nitride plating. This is the extremely tough coating used on drill bits and end mills and looks awesome on a polished finish. What a better coating for stainless handles and a "Golden" Dragon blade.

Stolen off Lew's collection. I hope it's this one, they did make them with an utility blade.

that's the one , cutting edge mesures 4 inches , if you measure to handles it's about 5 . The blade isn't perfect , but the lettering on it is . It still has the latchhandle .

here's a picture that may give just a bit more detail. This is one is, in fact, probably the same size that Mr. Harbin has.

Is that a coating for the handles or for the blade? Also, what color is it when applied, also when can you make me one, also can you give it to me for christmas as I am a poor lost soul, also that might also be a great upgrade for a boring old BM 42 (I say boring cause it's the only one I have anymore, and I can't afford another right now)

LOL....yeah I've got two of those Chuck.., they weigh more than a '67 Volkswagon :) I laughed when I saw your picture because I use one for a paper-weight in my office...nothings gonna blow away with one of those guys on it!!!!

Thanks for the picture!
