Don Fogg?

Don Fogg is one of my favorite ABS Mastersmiths. He is also a tremendous human being. His knives and his web site are really things of beauty. He is very happy to share his love of knives and the making of knives with others. I met Don several years ago at a show. He spent a long time talking to me and answering my ignorant questions even though he knew I would not be buying That day. I still do not own any Fogg knives, but I will soon.

There are many that do not get much attention in this forum.

Don's work rivals any of the finest out there. You can not go wrong.

In my opinion, Don Fogg is one of the best makers ever. He is willing to share the vast knowledge that he has, His designs NEVER stagnate, they are always changing and growing with his creativity.

He has the ability to turn a piece of plain ole carbon steel, some bamboo and cord into a work of art.

Don Fogg is as good of a maker as any on the planet, He may not have the rep of some of the other top custom makers, but his work as near flawless as any I have seen. On top of that he realy is a NICE GUY. A Fogg knife is an excelent buy whatever you pay for it.

Chalk up another "I want a Fogg BAD!".

Saw him speak at the Blade Show, and he was very impressive.

Don Fogg is one of the best!!! As a maker of incredible knives and as a person - I am thrilled & honored that he agreed to make a Stag Hunter for me - when I take delivery in a couple months I will be sure to post pictures & my impressions - then I will have to take it out & use it at least once because I think a knife of this quality can only be fully appreciated in use.

I agree with Matt Lamey that Don Fogg ranks with any of the all-time greats - he definately doesn't get the attention his work deserves.
