I am interested, in knowing who might be interested and what the following might be worth:
Don Hastings, Pathfinder Bowie
7 Inch tool steel blade,Ivory Micarta handle
Nice yellow patina
Nickel silver double branch guard
nickel silver butt cap
Black leather sheath by maker
No rust (bees wax only)
I am researching this for a friend who has no internet access
he freely admits that he knew nothing about convex edge grinds and in ignorance
sharpened a bevel on the blade
this knife resembles a beautiful slender

I have been looking for a Hastings knife for my collection. So, I called B. R. Hughes field editor for Blade Magazine and who was a close friend of Don's. He said the value would be around $325-$350.
