I just got mine yesterday. I chose it specifically because of it's size, but at first it seemed even smaller than I expected. But once I got it in my hands, forget it, this is going to be a perfect EDC.

It's just about the length of a 112 - which I've always preferred over the 110. I find this size really suits me because it is really easy to handle and use. It's also discreet and not likely to be perceived as a weapon. It slices beautifully so far and I'm looking forward to really giving it a workout in the next few days.

I also think it looks great - it's a really nice and graceful design. One other thing about it, the crossdraw sheath is really nice - it sits perfectly on your belt, and that "clack" it makes when you put the knife back in is really satisfying for some reason. Great knife and my enjoyment of it will last long after the price is forgotten.

You will love this knife. I have one with desert ironwood scales and it is in my weekly rotation for a small fixed blade carry. I am carrying it this week and am constantly looking for something to cut. This knife is small enough to be discrete, yet large enough to handle most cutting chores. I too am a fan of the Dozier sheathes, I think they are a large part of why I reach for one of my Doziers on a regular basis.
What kind of handle did you get on yours?

Yes, the SP Dozier one of Bob's best as "working"
knife. Mine is a constant companion now that I'm
retired. However, for my use I don't care for the
kydex sheath at all so I made a simple leather
sheath which solved the problem for me.

FWIW I' bet you will find this little knife to
wind up being an all time favorite in now time
at all :D :D :D

Good luck with the Straight Personal! I picked up one from Bob's table at last November's NY Custom Knife Show. Mine has plain "natural" micarta scales. It's a pleasure to have a fixed blade that can be simply dropped into a pocket and yet be available at a moment's notice by simply "thumbing off" the sheath.

Best of luck with it.:)

I got the yellow micarta, which I think A.G. Russell once said is actually natural micarta that's aged. If you can post a pic of yours with the desert ironwood handles I'd like to see it.
