Dozier

I was just on his site 2 days ago. I'm thinking about buying one of his fixed blade knives as my first fixed blade and my first custom.

Sweet!
Kinda looks like a heavy duty version of my

Yep, He just made a beefier model of the pro guide and called it the wilderness model. It has thicker stock, and it has a longer handle and blade length.
Nice photos.

Great looking knife!
Has anyone tried the DK-TFI/II Tab-stop folder? Looks like a tough knife that uses Ti handles and D2 blade steel.

I have one of his folders, a Buckhunter, and really love Bob's work. The Buckhunter has a locking bar that engages the entire rear surface of the blade tang. Since the blade is .187 thick that gives a lot of surface to be engaged. Lockup is absolutely rock solid. The D2 is some of the best cutting steel I've used.

I am a die hard Sebenza fan and carry a large daily. The Dozier folder is the only other folder that seems to as precisely built!:D

Just my opinion.............yours may differ:eek:  ;)
