What knives of yours are not getting much carry time and winding up sitting in a drawer?

For me, the seasons have something to do with it - I am not carrying much in the way of fixed blades in the summer. For a while, my Endura languished, in favor of customs, but recently I have taken it out and started enjoying it's simplicity and easy to carry properties. In the custom realm, I had gotten a hot gent's tactical folder, but have not been dressing up where I feel the need to have it on me. And since I am not going into the city much, facing the metal detectors, my Mad Dog ceramics are sitting around for the moment.

I have pretty much sold what I knew I would no longer want to carry and now have knives that I still like but somehow remain in the drawer.

Probably my Buck 110. too heavy to carry without a sheath, and I prefer the one handed opening of my endura. its a great knife, but doesn't get much practical use.

A bunch!

I have a very few Benchmade, Spyderco and Microtechs that I carry.

But I have a bunch of BM, SC, CRKT, Kershaw knives that I REALLY LIKE and I'm glad I own that I take out sometimes to play with, but just don't carry because there are my favorites that I carry.

I bet that if I had TWO front right pockets I'd dig into those and rotate some of those CRKTs and Spydercos that I like but never carry.

It's a knife-lover's delimma. There's so many you like and buy but you can't carry them all!

I guess, once you get past the point where you can't reasonably rotate carrying all the knives you just bought because you like them, then THAT'S what makes you a "collector". No?

cant carry my cs recon scout at work...all the sheep would tremble
with gastly fear...but carry it all the time at home and in the field:p

I have a BC coated Chive that I bought knowing I would never use it. I just liked the look of it and so it stays in a drawer. I also have many knives from CRKT that I used to EDC, but now they have been retired as I moved up to higher quality knives. I only own one knife that I wish I hadn't bought though, and I consider that pretty good.

Oh it's a drawer full:( My top drawer is full of Schrade and Uncle Henry folders, and the drawer below that are numerous multi-tools.One other drawer contains the "untouchables"...my Dads knives and a SAK that was given to me many years ago.

but I've been finding them good homes. The two most notable are a Spyderco Rescue (I use the tip too much to carry a sheepsfoot) and a Buck 110 (I don't like the nylon sheath it came with). I'm passing the Rescue along to a friend. I don't know what I'll do with the Buck.

My SS Spyder Native (combo edge) sits all the time.Sharpened once, carried twice.I feel like getting rid of it.

stuff in my dresser:
CRKT casper fighter (the big one)
gerber spectre
Boker top lock auto
benchmade 940

the benchmade took to much abuse and has been retired, threw the gerber in there cause i got sick of bending the clip back to its original position but other than that a great knife, the crkt i just didn't like all that much, the boker is cool but not to substantial.
