Had a vet trade me a EK Bowie he had received
when he was over in the Gulf War.The knife is
marked Operation Desert Storm on the racasso
and the guard is the light sand color with
para-cord wraped handle in colors like the
bdu clothing they wore. The thing that makes
this knife different is the bowie blade is
sharpened on the top and bottom?Anyone seen
one of these and is the blade correct?Wayne

Funny, I tried doing a search for "Ek Knife", "EK Knives" and "E K Knife" and "E K Knives" and couldn't find a thing on the net about 'em.
If I remember correctly, the Desert Storm EK's were a production item, available in the early 90's. I think they were available for less than $100 and the quality was adequate. I also recall that it was double-edged.

Anyways, I'm sure that someone else'll have more info, I just like answering first.
