Easiest Target constrcution

I have two large rounds that I want to make stands for. They weigh about 100lbs I think (they are big enough across that they are a pain to lift up into the back of my truck by my self. I am thinking about cutting them each in two so I will have 4 rounds (what is the minimum thickness for this type of target when using a stand, and throwing heavy hatchets at it???).

I live in an apartment with no yard, so I have to take them someplace else to practice.

What is the easiest way to set them up for throwing (right now, because of the way they are cut, I can put one flat on the ground, and stack the other on the top and do it that way, but I would like them higher than 3 feet).

I am looking for the most uncomplicated way to mount them (maybe drilling 2/4 to the back then a third leg either just propped in, or mounted at an angle somehow???). I want to be able to move them around in the back of my small truck, and also to be able to take them apart with out too much trouble to rotate, or store.

Anyone done a quick and easy build???
Pics and directions?

Thanks

I'm thinking perhaps a tripod arrangement made of 2X4" lumber. Join at the top with a piece of threaded rod, loose enough so that you can spread the two "legs". Run a chain or cable from the single leg so it won't overextend.

Put a suitable crossbar across the legs, and it should hold your "round" easily.
And be easy to fold up...

Thanks for the post, I did not mean to do a drive by posting. I was out of town on vacation (family reunion in Swan Valley Idaho...yea rafting the snake river), and when I got back I had a final to cram form, and 300 pages of reading for another class (boo for vacations when you really need to be studying)
