I've seen links to the time cover, and all sorts of publications, But Ed wrote an article on sharpening in that there "Esquire" magazine. I accidentally opened it, reching for Blade..:D Well, and it said "GET TOUGH" on the cover with mel gibson..I mean, that doesn't make me, y'know , uh, sheeple, uh, doesit?:D I mean it's no Tacknives...uh..
 
Esquire contacted Ed about doing something on how to sharpen the "old" way. Do not worry---Ed is NOT becoming a YUPPIE!!!!!
Ed figured that the more folks exposed to knives the better for our knife world.

I heard he was caught using one of them perfume cards that came with the magazine. ;)
 
Greg, you weren't supposed to tell. He just wanted to smell purty:D

BTW, bet he's the only author Esquire's ever had that keeps a rattler in the living room:D
 
Hi Guys:
The rattler is still in the living room. There is a little mouse in there w/him right now. I will use my 24 hour rule when I get home from work in the morning----if the mouse is still alive, I will let him go!!! They always thank me when I do.
By the way, those perfume cards are ones that smell like cows!!!!

If you're talking to the mice,or they're talking to you, maybe you need to get off the Willow Bow more often?;)
