"EDC - What's in Your Pocket" request

So back in the day the "EDC - What's in Your Pocket" topic was allowed in General Knife Discussion and it was immensely popular. Personally, I absolutely loved seeing what everyone carried - I found myself turning on my computer some nights when getting home from work just for the sole purpose of checking that thread. But sadly, the powers that be decided it wasn't appropriate for that forum and moved it to the Gadgets & Gear forum where the topic received fewer and fewer posts and has eventually faded away.

Could the mods please reconsider allowing this thread to be reopened once again in the General Knife Discussion forum so that we can bring the thread back to the majority's attention and revive the oh-so-fun topic?

The General Knife Discussion does seem to get a lot of hits, but ... it isn't the General Bulletin Board. It is supposed to be for discussions about knives, and when EDC, as everything we carry, is overwhelmingly gear, that's where it goes.

Personally, I like to encourage use of the "other" subforums, hoping they will develop more and more of a following, which won't happen if we leave all the off-topic threads in General.
 
But, but, but - every EDC requires a knife! Some people carry a flashlight, some a multitool, some sunglasses. The other gadgets and doodads are all over the place; the knife is the centerpiece that ties it all together! Would me saying "pretty please" help any? :D

Oh well, just felt I had to bring it up in hopes that there may have been a change of heart. Again, thanks for listening.
 
That was one of my favorite threads until it disappeared. When I was a kid, I had so much stuff in my pockets that I hated to change my pants. Things haven't changed much. One more vote for a "What's in your pockets thread".
 
When we move a thread, we leave a redirect so people can follow the link to the new subforum.
