sambar stag handles, very comfy, glued and pinned to the steel liners for safety and strengh
bolsters and liners are steel, satin/mirror finish, bolsters are dove-tailed to hold the scales down, not a easy to find feature and are relieved inside
inside it has a polished/mirror finish

flush in all 3 positions, liners and handles are flush , pring/tang conjunction is flush
3 3/4" closed
one of a kind, he made 2 from what I know (mine and one in abalone)
spring is not hard at all, I can pinch the blade open, walk and talk are great, snap is awesome and sound and in the open position the spring is pretty strong so non way you can accidentally close it
it's been convexed, stropped on compound and I've redone the tip that was not sharpened
edge was thick now it's fairly sharp, does not fear anything
I've used (more tested the sharpness than used) it lightly but it's like new apart form a couple pictured light marks from sharpening
it has a crack in the center of the fron handles, not a big issue knife won't fall apart also because they are glued to the liners, the "line" near the rear pin is just light and not a second crack!
it's a great workhorse IMO, hefty and strong knife, no little "knifey" to baby and be scared to use! size is great to carry, edc and use
