Edge Pro and blade width/length?

How narrow (edge to spine) of a blade will the Edge Pro realistically handle? How short (bolster to tip)? It appears from Edge Pro's demo video that the blade support table is designed for a substantial blade. Also, does Edge Pro make any round stones (like a ceramic rod) for sharpening a concave curved blade? Any help will be appreciated.

I have sharpened everything from a 10" chef's knife down to a mini-Swiss Army key fob (blade measures 1 1/4 x 3/16).

E/P sells a ceramic steel, but it is not intended to be used ON the E/P. It is intended to be used like a traditional steel.

One of the important items is keeping the blade resting properly on the blade table. This can be a little tricky with some very small blades. You want to avoid 'rock' at all costs. I use some blue sticky stuff ( don't know the name but is rather like chewing gum ) and this can often help.
The ideal is a flat area on the blade however large or small.

Mostly I sharpen kitchen knives, but I've done some small SAK blades, too. The really small ones are a bit tricky to hold still but otherwise no different. The largest blade I've sharpened on my Apex is my 12" granton-edged slicer, and it worked extremely well.

I sharpen boning knives that are thin. width is about 1cm (less than half an inch) though the blades are 7 to 11 inches long. I sharpen fillet knives that are long and thin as well as flexible. The most difficult blades are ones that don't seem to be flat. The flatter the blade the easier it is to sharpen on the EP

Shortest blades I do on a regular basis are fixed blade scalpels in dissection kits for the local college. (these kits are being phased out next year) The blade length is less than 1/2" on the small one while the large one in the kit is 3/4" long.
