Ok, I know how to make knives now, ever liner locks. My problem now is learning to do it more efficiently. It seems to take me way too long to finish a knife nowadays. I catch myself doing the same things over a couple times and doing things before I should do them. I don't know if it's because I'm trying to make better knives or if I'm just gettin sloppy. I guess this question is aimed at folks like Kit Carson, Darrel Ralph, Tom Mayo, Jerry Hossom and such, knife makers that make alot of quality knives. What can you tell me to help me become more efficient at making knives? I don't want to crank em out and increase speed at the cost of quality but theres got to be ways to reduce the time involved. Thanks up front for any help you can give me!!!!

Michael, I think Darrel has just invited you to his shop. What a good opportunity!

I know what you are talking about. It takes loads of time to make knives correctly. I dont have the answer except to just keep doing them and you will get more efficient with your time. You know what not to do now which use to waste time and materials. I have been working on one for almost a month now part time.
