No, this isn't the one he did for BM. It's one of 5 known to have been made by him. From what I am able to gather, they all share the same handles shape, but have different blade styles. Mine is an Utility blade with really nice horns. I'll post a more definitive review when I get my new camera back.

It came with this kydex sheath that works really well, but leaves rubbing marks on the ends of the handles.

I think I'd better inspect those rubbing marks on it for about a year to 18 months :) ...I don't want you to suffer with that.., and I do have that Lazer-Bat-Blade electron microscope at work..., so I think we can work out this problem and I'll get it right back to you!

Ok...Ok...so I lied ...just give it to me cause it's almost Christmas????

Hmmmmmmmm.... ..., or just give me your phone number and let me talk to Mrs. Tony.., then you will have no recourse but to hide it WAY WAY up here with me in the mountains! :)

Cool knife Tony...thanks for sharing.., and of course we'd love to see more pictures when you can.

unique handles? oh yes.
nice handles? not at all!
overall? it's ok. ;)

how much is it worth? probably a pretty sum, if it's 1/5...
(now that's the way to sell ugly knives: make them low quantity! :D)

Ugly handles?

Well, maybe, but I would say "simple"

Are they milled blocks of stainless, or sanwitched handles with pins holding it together? I see it is closed on the ends. Also, how does it flip, with those flat handles? Does it have any marks to distinguish the safe handle? What does the Kydex latch onto? just tension?

Pretty curious about this one...;)

I kinda like it, great blade. The handles are OK, very simple, but sometimes there's art in pure function.:) Nice find.

Received email from Allen on more details about this bali, and am posting it here to share. My thanks to Allen for taking the time out to answer my question.

Again, I'll post a more definitive review with pic's when I get my camera back.

Tony:
This knife was my first folding type knife. The handle is 416 stainless
steel and the blade is made out of O1. It is around 12 years old. I made
only 5. That is the original pouch that I made out of ABS.
I hope this helps.
Take care,
Allen Elishewitz
