Excellent!

I'm off to Wally World for Woodchucking supplies - a case of Tru Oil, a case of Bondini, and a case of rum!:D

I think this is what they're talking about (dagger shape).

Looks like it would be a hard bottle to keep from spilling. I suppose all the more reason to finish the whole thing in one sitting :D

Hmmm,

So maybe this gold medal winner can find a way to get their product imported into the US??

A brief mention here:
http://www.rumshop.net/newsletters/september2002.pdf

--A platinum medal was awarded in each of seven categories and listed, first time Khukuri XXX was entered, but no other details--like how many gold medals were awarded in each category, or the ranking mentioned.

Still, pretty impressive, and it was a blind tasting.

:)

..Mirrors the Viking drinking style--hard to set a full drinking horn down!

I suppose if I start training my liver now, itll be all ready to attempt finishing one of them khuks full of rum by the time my son is old enough to drink:D

It's easy enough to polish off a bottle. You just need a few khukuri enthusiasts.

I brought a bottle that Kami Sherpa gave me to the Reno convention a couple of years ago. It didn't last long what with Yvsa and Bill and Rusty and ...

Good stuff!

The best dayumed Rum I ever drank, Bar None!!!!:D

That last line by Howard should read....... It didn't last long what with Yvsa and Bill and Rusty and ...Myself!!!;)
Oh!!!! And Rusty didn't have any of it. :)

Wasn't it Bill. Yvsa and Howard doing the most damage? Rusty didn't touch -- well, maybe he touched the bottle but he didn't drink any.

I don't think they have a US distributor yet but they should. The top line rum is quite good. The black stuff the locals in Nepal drink is not recommended.

Bill,

I emailed them asking if there was a US distributor, and at the moment there is none. Howabout you check out having HI become the importer? It'd be an interesting partnership. I'd become the importer, but I've got enough to do as it is.

What with this publicity, some of the import houses would likely take a serious look at bringing some in to test the local markets...

Just a thought...

Meantime... I keep refilling the bottle I have with some Bacardi Overproof...;) :D
