Got these in and had to get it done.

My friend I managed to control the depth of the recessing for the hardware to make all the body parts go on without modification since we went from .098 thickness scales to a .082 thickness with these new orange ones.

I was not able to get by doing that with the pocket clip screws though so you need to put a call into Spyderco to see about getting three replacments for the clip in the event that you decide to put it back together with green for a while.

Otherwise the folder is unmodified anywhere else. It just has new clothes.

Thanks

WOW thank you i guess i need to pay now :)

Yep. I'm thinking $65 on the orange twist which is the least expensive set of scales I make. Pay pal and all you need is on the sticky 'read this thread' second thread from the top. Its in post number two.

Thanks.

They always look so nice when someone else takes the pics.

I should have satin finished that clip or mentioned doing that. Probably woudn't take too long to use some 400 grit followed by 600 grit emory cloth and knock that out right quick while watching TV.

Looks good though. Thansks for the pic. I like it when you guys post them vs me doing it. One they look better and two it saves my precious limited storage space for my knifemaker forum.
