My new Endura 4 showed up today. Very cool. It reminds me of my full size calypso. It would be a perfect 10 if it weren't for those thumb serrations! Holey smokes they are sharp! Any suggestions on how to tone them down a bit without screwing up the blade's finish?

If you have a sharpmaker use the fine or ultra fine hones to polish the edges of teh serrations. I have had to do this before, and the fine/UF rods should polish without being too coarse leaving a bad finish.

I couldn't locate my sharpmaker, so I used some toothpicks loaded with metal-glo polish. After wearing away 3 toothpicks and plenty of abrasive, the serrations are much kinder to the touch. I can't see any difference in the finish.
I I had a Dremel, I would have chucked the toothpicks in a dremel and run them at low speed and saved myself an hour.
Thanks for the help Rusty!
