I don't know anything about setting up a Lansky, but I do all my Spyderco EDCs (Caly 3, D4s, Natives, Manix, Para) at 15 dps. I do my two work D4s at 20 dps for a bit stronger edge.
You can use a sharpie to check the angle. Mark the edge of the bevel with a sharpie. Set up and make a light pass at what you think the angle is. Adjust until you are removing the sharpie and you will be at the correct angle.
I often go shallower than factory with the GATCO. I use the sharpy to tell me when I have removed the original bevel and am at a new angle.
