This guy amazes me every time I see a new knife he made. He has come so far so fast it is really amazing. Outstanding work Eric!!

Wow! Is this from the forumite formerly known as Comrade Chang?
If so, I must say this is a great improvement over his cardboard knives. Not that those were bad, but this looks like a very clean well made knife. And good lookin' too. Great Job Eric!

I consider Eric a friend and have several of his cardboard specials :)

Now the knives that he is making are another matter all-together.
Friendship aside, this young man can grind a knife. The fit and finish on this one is as good as it gets on a knife of this type. I honestly can not feel the transition from handle to pins or tang.

Hear Hear ! !

As a "forumite". . .I've always been impressed with his rhetoric !

We've seen his desire to create.

As a knifesmith. . .I'm impressed with his metal skills !

Great guy ~ cool maker. :D

Rock on Dude ! !

This pic does not come close to showing how even the grind is. I have seen knives from a few folks with a lot more experience that this example of Erics work easily compares to and surpasses those in a case or two.

Eric did his own heat-treating on this puppy. I have not been abusing it, but it did go through about 5 hours of vine-cutting off of fences and trees. The edge held up well and touched up very well. I could not be more pleased with the knife.
Thanks Eric!

Thanks for sharing the photo's, Mike and Gus. Very nice knives! I guess I need a steel Changmade to go with the others in my collection.:D

I talk to Eric on AIM sometimes... he's a nice guy, and his knives look awesome.
One of his knives with Micarta (See man? I told you that you couldnt resist the dark side forever ;)) is on my wish list.

(need money *grumble*)

Hmmmm, seems like yesterday we were enjoying the pics of the Changbenzas, Changmades, and their ilk...

Now, look at that! That's a very nice knife!!:D

Great job Eric, you should feel very proud!! You have come a long way fast. Keep up the good work.

Best regards,
Joe

pendentive: Eric began by making his knives with cardboard, such as the "Changbenza" using only the finest boxes avaliable, and his logos were applied very skillfully with top grade magic markers :) Im sure somebody has a photo of one of these collectable classics.

Eric, those hunters look really nice. Keep up the good work.
