ETA for ZT 0560-1 w/ black blade?

I was about to pull the trigger on a current 0561 from another member but the money handler got involved. But maybe it was for the best..

Is Kershaw/ZT going to release a black and/or tiger striped blade for the 0560/0561 models?





Just realized this is my first post since 2006. Damn I'm old.

Are they confirmed? I could swear it was brought up (mentioned it was listed on a dealer's page) while the enormous 560/561 thread was going on and debunked by a Kershaw employee as not planned at the time. I tried searching for that and couldn't find it, so maybe it's just me going senile

We've been told there are only plans are for the cbcf version. The others are listed based on speculation.

Ah I was wrong. Kept searching for black blade and didn't find it, but once you posted that link I tried searching for tiger striped instead of black blade and found the quote from a year ago by Thomas confirming there will be a limited edition model in tiger stripe

So it looks like a deal was indeed struck on a LE tiger striped 560.

No other details available at this time.

Then at the end of April Thomas said:

I wouldn't expect TS variations anytime soon, as we are still working towards getting caught up on backorders.

Then in the middle of June Lynda from Kershaw posted:

Sorry guys, not tiger stripe 056X have been in the works around here.

So I imagine it will be awhile yet
