Ever do something "just because"...??

I did a few years back...


Just had to find out what it would be like to grow a full (and I mean FULL) beard.

Here's the result:

I bought my Nessmuk just because I loved the style the minute I saw one. I have no real need for it. I am just in love with how it looks.

I have a lot of tattoos, every one with a reason. I have six kids, and you know why that happens. I buy and trade knives, and I have more reasons than I can spew out under interrogations from the wife for that. I guess promoting my cheery disposition at my bad reputation among authorities in my community could fall under "just because".

That's a nice beard.

I tried to grow one a while back. I'm a hairy guy of Italian ancestry with curly dark hair. I have a big mustache. My beard came in somewhat sparse and very curly. Looked like friggin' pubic hair. :-(
No beard for me!

What you can't really see in the pic...is how bushy it was on the sides....that pic is "under control"...usually it was waaaaay out of control. I had that crazy grizzly adams look.

Oh man, I believe it. I seriously looked like a homeless dude. I am a Web Designer and I was actually meeting with clients like that. Can't believe I got any work! Oh well, I did it, but it wasn't fun while it lasted!

Just because? Yep I gave myself a buzz cut once...Was about 340 pounds at the time...Looked like a bad wrestler. No one messed with me that's for sure.

I called that haircut....the Felon....

Or when I just shave my mustache and leave the beard...very Amish...

That's a pretty serious beard. My beard gets pretty poofy if I let it get much longer than it is now.
