What I meant with the , is that I see nothing in the original post but one picture, three red X's and a link that doesn't work. Does anyone see anything else?

I see this:

And a picture of a Buckscript 110 (and yes, the "back" is a link that doesn't work).

These are still available from Smokey and only from them. "Buck® Model 110 "BuckScript" Folding Hunter® with Genuine Bone Handle."

Right click on the photo and then click on properties and it will tell you where the photo came from. Just follow it upstream so to speak.

I know where the picture came from, it's a stock photo from SMKW's web site. I just don't know what the OP is asking or trying to say about the knife. There's no question or statement in the post and there seems to be three missing photos (the little boxes with red x's in them) and an inoperative link.

I'd like one but SMKW is pretty proud of their shipping deparment based on their shipping charges. Shipping that equals 20% of the item cost is a little too steep for me. Maybe I can scrounge a coupon?

Oh, OK. I figure he tried to post link or linksto the site which didn't take and you were wanting to know where the knife was from.

That's one of the reason's I never buy from them anymore. Basing the shipping cost on the price of the item is a ripoff. It costs no more to ship a $24.99 knife than it does a $99.99 if they are the same general shape and size, but they will charge you $4 more to do so.

Smokey is staying in business, so somebody must be buying from them.

They have some good sales and promotions sometimes. I got my two Buckscripts at a reduced price and a free Buck anvil with them. Those anvils are selling for $25 and up now.

I can see charging higher shipping on more expensive items simply due to higher insurance costs. Even if you self-insure you have to factor in potential losses.

Plumber,
The picture was only that, a picture of a 110 fom SMKW. The purpose of just the picture was to show off the Exclusive 110 and I felt that everybody would know that it was from SMKW. They are one of the only Co. that have Exclusives. There isn't much to be confused about. If the red boxes threw you off, sorry. That was the only way the picture would come up, without the link. I didn't want to get jammed for DEAL SPOTTING.

Everybody has been loving the NS bolsters lately and I thought the bone was cool looking with the script. Hell I might even get one and I am not a 110 collector, although I have several. I like this one...:)

Forgive my confusion! Since the knife has been available for two years and as you say, everyone already knows who the exclusive dealer is for them (from several prior threads), I thought that perhaps the missing link was a review. Perhaps the bone scales were shrinking, fading or the inlay was falling out! Who knew!

With the missing pictures, inoperative link, and no message, you have to admit that that the post is pretty cryptic and confusing.

Your Right DAVE!!! Although, though the knife has been avaliably for two or ten years, its never been up here from what I have seen. Its my mistake for posting just a picture of a nice knife, without a bunch of needless commentary.

These have been discussed here, MBJ......you just must have missed it. I've posted this pic here before, I'm sure.

It really is an impressive knife (one of the few NEW Bucks I've purchased in the last few years).

Obey your good instincts and buy one.

:D
