!!EXPENSIVE COMMANDER!!(your opinions please)

HI!
I am from Singapore and just yesterday, i asked my local knife dealer about the Emerson Commander and he told me that it would cost me S$400 odd!!! is that reasonable or expensive??

If your talking about his charging you $400 SGD for the Commander, it's really not that much off. That converts to about $230 US if I'm correct.

You may be able to get a better deal on the Internet, but your going to have to deal with shipping and import taxes too probably.

i didn't think of that...thanks a lot....but i just! got wind of another local knife dealer in my country sheares trading...seems like a lot of bladeforumites have had pleasant dealings with them...so i am considering switching over to them...

You need to talk to Keninshiro. He'll set you straight with some smart advice on buying stuff from the States. Saved me a lot of cash.
