Greetings,
I have an opportunity to pick up a Chamblin Delica and a couple of McLurkin folders. I am having trouble finding any kind of info on the McLurkins. And I am also curious of the fair market values on these pieces. If there are any experienced collectors of these makers, would you please give me some hints of what to expect?
Thanks!

Andrew is a member of BladeForums. Why don't you e-mail him with the particulars of the knives you're interested in and he can give you their estimated value. Here's his profile:

I owned the carbon fiber and damascus folder that won Andrew the Best New Maker award at the 2000 Southeastern Custom Knife show. Here's a pic:

Unfortunately, I had to sell it. Andrew has knifemaking skills far beyond what his experience would indicate. He's also a super guy!

Mr. Senator,
Thanks for the note. Coincidentally, one of the McLurkins I'm looking at is the knife in the photo you sent. Do you happen to know if Andrew made more than one of those, or do you think that is one of a kind?
I enjoyed looking at your collection!!
