Any info on this? I saw an ad in the latest TK, and then checked the Fallkniven site. But I can't find anywhere to buy it! I want one! It looks almost like an 8" bladed version of the A1, and is made with laminated steel. Too sweet.

Hey TK..

It is a larger version of the AI....

Looks like an AI on viagara..:)

Pretty nice looking ....

The new Fallkniven folder looks pretty cool as well..

Laminated blade? I know many scandinavian blades use laminated steels in smaller knives but does this lamination really add much in these larger blades? The cost goes up but does overall performance?

I have a laminated blade on my Morseth. It will cut 10 inches in front of the blade. I would not trade it for anything.

Back in mid February over on the Fallkniven Forum they anticipated a May/June US release at a cost of around 200.00 to 220.00.

I would not want stainless in that type of blade, however if I had to get it, that would be the way to go. A very nice clean blade design. The price however puts it in competition with some other very stand out performers though.

Just from what I have seen and read, I can't see the A-2 being better, or enough better than the A-1 to justify almost double the cost.
