Fallkniven has started selling full tang blades sans handles. Does anyone know a site where you can get these?

The bare blades will be available world-wide in a few weeks.
They are scheduled to be shipped to their distributers in 10 days.
Expect them avallable here in the US in a month or so.
I've had the S1 for a while know and I think it's an excellent knife. My only complaint is that it looks kinda of boring. I'd like one with a stag handle.
I made a new leather sheath for it modeled after the Randall no 25 sheath. It was a fun project and much more attractive than the cheap cordura sheath that it came with.
I have a set of sambar stag scales that I can't wait to use on one of those bare blades. I wish they pre-drilled some holes in the guard area for attaching some stainless steel bolsters. What the hell, I'll send them an email suggesting that.

yes, they will have laminated VG10 blades.

I like how quickly they respond,
The blades will come fully sharpened.
The fist batch of blades will only have the holes shown on the website photos but if they get more requests for more pre-drilled holes they wil consider it.
It looks like you have two weeks to select your handle material!
