I have seen a catalog that has pommels with different designs carved into them such as stars, minature animal heads, etc. Can't remember the name of the company, any help?

Have you thought of trying one yourself. Here is a link to my tutorial on making a shell Pommel (buttcap)

Thanks Bruce for the reply. Actually I am looking for pommels that have been cast into figures or shapes that would be very difficult for a klutz like me to do. Some Scandavian knives have pommels shaped like horse or bear heads. I think it was Atlanta cutlery that had the pommels I am interested in but can't find their catalog and their website didn't have them available.

Look for Linder knives website, I saw it a few weeks ago and it has what you are looking for. Sorry I don't have a web address to give you
