I was looking at the Farid T1000 in the Nov Blade and was wondering if anyone has had a chance to handle and/or use one.
If so what are your thoughts and comments on this particular piece?

Thanks Chiro,
I will look that up right now.

The Farid pieces I saw at this year's Blade Show were HUGE. Imagine a REKAT Pioneer but about three times as thick. IMHO, it was overbuilt to the point of being ridiculous. If you think REKATs are for wimps (or need a good doorstop), then the Farid may be the way to go. Otherwise, I think that there are much better options on the market.

What Kelly said and not to mention they are heavy as a boat anchor. Watch out when carrying this one in your pocket, might pull your pants down

Mama said if you can't say anything nice then...

I handled one at the Bladeshow and I shall remain silent.

Wow, thanks for the info.
It looks like there have been some issues with his work in the past so I will wait on that one.
I would like to see/handle one up close and personal though.
