The first run of these are being made exclusively for the students of next weeks knife class, hand ground too! We haven't priced it, nor have we named yet, but I thought it was time to show it off.

As you can see by the lines this is our first Hinderer/TDI collaboration! The knife has a 3.5" blade, and was designed with everyday carry in mind. As we have found and the past class attendees can confirm, the wharncliff blade is one bad dude on flesh!

Here is shot of one of the prototypes, I hope you don't mind an iPhone pic! When we get a class knife done, I will put up more detailed shots.

I like it for at least 2 reasons. 1. It's a Hinderer and 2. I don't have one
To those going to the GTG--please post stories and photos so we can enjoy it vicariously.

Any word on the production of this knife? When will these be avil? What is the steel, S35VN? Did you name it yet? How thick is this blade?
I would like one please =) Please put me on top of the list.

No production info, so I can't predict the time, the type of steel, or the name. The original 20 that were sold this weekend were 3/16" thick.

Bump.....letting you guys know we are waiting for the production version. I am saving all cardboard boxes until this knife is released!

I don't have a lead time for a production model, but there will be handground versions at the Blade show though!

Oh no!

Now I have to not only win one lotto, but at least two. I already know the odds are not in my favor.

That blade would make a very cool fixed EDC with defensive appeal.

Thanks for dusting off an older thread.

And bigger thanks to Rob for stirring the want a bit with an informative post.

No doubt this will be a winner! My first blade show will be this year..... and I am a local in Atlanta! I feel lucky already and I don't even own a Hinderer - YET!

Re this collaboration - I have been searching for this quality of fixed blade. Started with the TDI and added a few semi-custom's to my collection trying to get what's in the picture above.

Attended both the Feb. and July class,Rick, Rob, and crew did their best to make both unforgettable classes. Was lucky enough to
to purchase both class class TDI knives. They are one mean piece of work. You will not find a deadlier design to cut.

Nice photo, emel. Looks like a creature's talons. That horror movie Freddy K. "dream reaper" would be invious.
