Feedback on ParaTrooper Knife

Welcome to Bladeforums!

Don't waste your money on that "knife". There are too many reputable companies, with offerings at every price level, to bother with a no-name copy of a knife that never made it into production when it was first designed.

If you're new to knives, you might start with Cold Steel and CRKT, and certainly look at Spyderco and Benchmade and Emerson and Camillus. More expensive, Microtech and Chris Reeve. Customs ... the sky's the limit!

Before you spend a lot of money, try to learn something about different steels, blade shapes and grinds, and handle materials. Then ask about lubricating and sharpening.

Cash or credit always welcome! :D

I find paratrooper knives to be fun gifts, given about 5-6 away. They are easy to open and close, and look neat... but are not any real use...

If you want a knife that has the blade inside the handle, but non folder, get either a good auto(MicroTech) or a balisong(BenchMade)
If you want a folder, get a Spyderco.

I carry a small fixed on top of my folders.
