Boy, it's been a LONG time since I've done any leather work. I've got a huge Jerry Hossom Kopis that is begging for a sheath, but I felt like I needed to practice on something less important first, so this little forge-finished lawn mower blade got the nod...

This is a difficult shape to sheath without looking funny, due to the extreme wide blade shape. I thought I'd show you guys how it came out this was my first time to do much stamping:

Any comments or suggestions always welcome. Thanks for looking :)

Very nice - good to see you haven't lost your touch! :D

That looks like a pretty cool knife, too. You make it?

Thanks guys.

Greg, yeah that's one of my attempts at forging, it's an old lawn mower blade turned skinner. Knifemaking is a little tougher than sheathmaking I think, lol.

I'll bet it is! That looks like a good one, though. It's rustic. :D:thumbup:
