Ats-34 wharny blade, bone stag scales, 416 bolsters, 440c spacer and .063 ti liners. Still got some cleaning up and carving to do on it.

Damn that is nice. I have really started to like slipjoints and this one has a style that I find particularly pleasing. What is the blade and overall length?

Gotta agree with Keith. Very pretty knife Mike...great job.

Mike, you keep getting better and better.
That one is a beauty and a keeper.

Thanks guys!!!
Kieth, this one is a liner lock. I guess thats a wierd pattern for a liner lock but I haven't tackled slips yet. I will soon though. This one is small for me, it's only 6 3/4" over all with a 2 7/8" blade. I could have made the frame a little smaller but didn't want it to get too small to be useful.Once I figure out how you pien those darn pins on slips I'm gonna give this pattern a try. This one actually started out as a neck knife. I messed up the handle shape and didn't want to waste the blade so I thought I'd try making a folder with it. I'm really suprised how nice the blade lays in the frame considering the steel is not precision ground. I guess hand sanding the flats really makes a difference. Sure hope I don't mess it up when I try some rope pattern file work on the spacer.

Very nice.., I'm not really a Stag fan.., but that is a nice knife.., and I think the blade length is nice for utility and EDC...

Pete doesn't like stag? Isn't that enough to get a guy banned around here? :p

Boy, that sure looked like a SJ to me. Well Mike, if you were to make a SJ that looked like that one, it would look great.
