I am sharpening my RAT/ESEE RC-3 MIL for the first time since I've owned it. I have let it get shamefully dull. It will still slice copy paper but it catches and cardboard - well that's painful on the hand and tears & cuts equally upon slicing a section of the material.

Does anyone know the inclusive factory grind on the RC-3 MIL? I can always wing it, but prefer to keep it close to what it is now.

Thanks!! :D

I am pretty sure the final bevel is applied by hand at the factory, so don't be surprised if you hear different numbers.

My Izula was more like 21 degrees inclusive, 10.5 per side. That's according to my Edge Pro when I did the sharpie trick.

Outstanding edge! That Izula is pretty enough for my PC's wallpaper! :)

I'll shoot at 40* with a sharpie on the edge to start with - thanks!!
