finished another sheath.

hey folks.. just thought i would share some pics of another sheath i finished, earlier in the week..

this one was for a Ray Laconico Kephart knife... it's made from 9-10 oz. veg. tanned leather.. dyed with med. brown Fiebings dye and brown/black dye on the edges.. it was finished with a few coats of beeswax..

my stamp came out a little tweaked..

i actually ended up trading this knife and sheath together, for a BRKT Golok, which i have been wanting for years...

I think every knife that comes with a basic leather sheath should come with something exactly like what you made there.

Good sound looking work...how did you apply the beeswax? Did you dip it?
Is it so hard a cat couldn't scratch it??

many thanks Rayban.. i usually apply the beeswax by hand... i have had good results so far...
