Hi guys,
I have just bought myself a new laptop, and it is running Vista Business. I have avoided Vista so far, and may return to XP, but for now I am trying Vista. My question is, in Mozilla Firefox, how do I get rid of the Yahoo Toolbar, which I don't want. Internet searches suggested the following.
1. Use the "Pencil menu" to get rid of it. I don't have a pencil menu.
2. Use Firefox's Tools menu to locate the extension manager and disable it in the extension manager. My extension manager does not list the Yahoo Toolbar.
3. Use the Control Panel to uninstall it, via the Remove Programs option. Its not listed as a program there.
IS there any other way that I haven't tried, and one more question. Why on Earth wouldn't we call something like this a virus?
