for those considering the Firestone Belt axe, but find it overpriced, check this out -

yep - that's the real thing for only 89 dollars - instead of the usual 150. That puts in in the grand fors and other similar axes range, but it's a great design. I just picked one up and it's a great belt axe. aside from throwing it's a real work horse around the yard or camp site. That should read 440C steel. I love this axe for $89, but i don't think i'd pay 150 for it.
Does anyone else own one of these? I love it so far, but i'd be interested in how it holds up after a season or two, or at least a few weeks of use.
